Citadel Knives & Swords SC4046 Limited Edition Dragon Katana/c/Tanto Set 41-1/2" Overall 21" Hand Forged DNH7 Blade Handle Suede!  Citadel's swords and knives are completely hand-made custom  made entirely in their small shop in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. We've asked them to make for us a few in the same style, but made in the same way as their custom swords. Crafted individually from start to finish, each one is of course a bit unique in its own way. Limited to 100 swords, each is signed by the smith on the nakago with the sword number and comes with a matching certificate. Our Wolf Katana (SC4048) & Wakizashi (SC4049) leap beyond the typical black katana format into a wilder concept of style and grace. The black etched wold tsuba showcases Citadel's handmade style and attention to detail. The fuchi and kashira are lightly textured and gentle to the touch. The forged 21" DNH7 blade features bo hi to lighten the 5.5mm thick blade.The 9" tsuka is wrapped in suede tsuka ito over white same (ray skin). The tsuka is carved to each individual sword, ensuring a tight friction fit with a full same-gawa wrap. The menuki are a cloud and moon motif with a crescent moon and full moon on the other. The dark brown saya with a gray mist is lacquered with buffalo horn kurikata and kojiri.
